As you know, colored denim is one of my absolute favorite materials to work with (just check out my thrifted chair redo or my recycled jeans quilt). So when I was asked to help create centerpieces for Goodwill San Antonio's upcoming 70th anniversary celebration, it didn't take long for me to gravitate back to them. Together with the team of other Goodwill SA bloggers, we had a fall color scheme and theme in mind. These DIY denim leaf centerpieces are the perfect way to add a pop of color and whimsy to your fall decor. Now let me show you how to make your own!
- Colored denim (from your local Goodwill)
- Fabric scissors
- Cling wrap
- Mod Podge--I used the hard coat kind
- Large vase, lamp, or some other form for your centerpiece
I'll be making more in several different sizes and colors, but I'm so pleased with how these turned out! Add in a few battery-operated lights and you're ready to go! What color would you make these in?
