So, you wanna know my secret? It’s all in your browser. When you use Pinterest’s search engine, it brings up what it thinks matches your search, and more often than not, it feels like it should be finding a lot more. To search for a specific keyword just click on “Edit” in your browser tool bar, and then again on “Find.”

Another toolbar should pop up at the bottom of your browser. This is the magic find-what-you-really-want-on-Pinterest box (aka the “Find” box). All you have to do is type in what you’re looking for and ta-dah! the magic find box finds it for you! (Ok, it really just searches through the current page for the term you entered.)

See? It found all my cardboard crafts! It will search the descriptions, titles, board names, and even the name of the person finding it (there was no one named cardboard in this search).

When I searched for “app” it searched for every version of the word, like apple and happyness. So a search for “tech” might be better. Or if you’re looking for crafts in general, I would just type “craft” instead of crafty, crafter, etc., this way it finds every version of the term “craft.”
So now you can scroll through your feed with purpose! What do you think? Any other awesome Pinterest tips?
