I stopped in at Goodwill yesterday to look for something for a new project (coming soon), and came out with a few extras. I wish I could go thrifting with all of you (that would be so much fun), but I can at least play show and tell. Wanna see what I found?
I spotted a stack of these melamine plates in the kitchen section. I didn’t really need them, but they’re perfect for my girl’s play kitchen. Only .49¢ a piece!
I’m forever a sucker for kids books, too. This time it was a copy of Disney’s Pete’s Dragon with a record to listen along (and a couple of extra records tucked in with it), and a sweet vintage book called Up and Down the Escalator.
My first and favorite find was this little sleeping bag. I was drawn to the print; isn’t it adorable? I think it’s from so old Golden Book illustrations (any experts out there?). I couldn’t tell how old it is, there was no tag and it had a metal zipper, and can open out flat like a blanket. It could even be handmade. Either way I love it–too bad I can’t fit in it.
I’d love to see your latest thrifty finds, so I thought I’d try out a link party so we can all share!
