I found a pattern for this lovely crocheted yoke over the summer and began work on it before Amelia’s birthday in August. It took an embarrassingly long time to finish it–I kept messing the pattern up and running out of yarn (I was using some leftovers from this bolero I made and had to keep digging for more in my stash).
Amelia’s birthday came and went, but I finally finished it and found a thrift store dress to reuse for the bottom. It’s far from perfect, but she looks pretty sweet in it, doesn’t she? Looking to make something a little easier? Check out the other dress I remade into a girl’s paper bag skirt.
