This week kind of kicked my butt friends. Chris has been tackling the floor, and it made it interesting not being able to walk in or use the kitchen for a day and a half or so. On top of that it’s been pouring rain, I cracked my phone screen, one of our chickens died, the kids have been more than a little wild, and this mama’s been more than a little tired.
But there was still much to be thankful for. Like homemade kettlecorn (anyone interested in a recipe?), our floor is finished, it’s actually starting to feel like fall (or is it just a fluke?), and a little escape to my favorite coffee shop for some writing!
