Just about every kid in the world loves stickers, including mine. I loved them as a kid, too, I even had an entire notebook dedicated to my sticker collection (which I still have somewhere). But as a mama my biggest interaction with stickers is peeling them off furniture and our wood flooring, which is definitely not fun.


My kids were thrilled to find these puffy Wizard of Oz stickers in an awesome pack of crafts we received recently, and when I came up with the idea of turning them into puppets, they loved them even more!

DIY Sticker Puppets
To make our puppets, I just washi-taped them onto some knitting needles. We also made some puppet theaters out of old cereal boxes. My six-year-old, Liam, even made different backgrounds to slip in for scene changes.

And he had a great time putting on a show for me to share, too:
