Photos from Chalk It Up 2012
One of my favorite events every year here in San Antonio is Artpace’s Chalk It Up. Artpace is a local arts organization that does a fantastic job involving the community–and families in particular. This is one event that I will move mountains to get my kids to–rain or shine, crazy morning or calm, we’re getting our chalk on! This year’s event will be held this Saturday, October 12 from 10am-4pm, and it’s absolutely FREE!
Every year artists and groups from around the city come together to chalk up their own blank canvases, there’s a huge public street mural, and various activities hosted by Artpace and local museums (like a giant spirograph, screenprinting, or free Tattly tatoos).
