We shook off the cold, rainy days and burst into spring last month. There were a lot of free family events around town, and we paid visits to the San Antonio Museum of Art‘s First Sunday for Families, the McNay‘s spring break days, and Artpace‘s Family Day–San Antonio is a great place for art and families! I also took the kids out the Fest of Tails–it was sunny and hot, but I remembered the sunscreen this year!
We also went camping in Goliad and enjoyed our membership to the San Antonio Botanical Gardens. (Local memberships are the way to go with a large family!)
On the blog, I’ve been getting crafty with PBS, Sprout, Goodwill, and the wonderful DIY Candy. Personally, I’ve been making an attempt at the #40bagsin40days challenge for Lent (thanks for the inspiration Ann Marie!), clearing out a ton of stuff from the house (I definitely got behind, but I’ve been taking photos along the way and can’t wait to share them with you!).
The kids are as imaginative, wild, and amazing as ever. Last month brought some big changes in my personal life, but I’m finding my way through it–I wish I could share so much more of it with you, and maybe there will be a time for that in the future. For now, I want to encourage all of you awesome mamas to look for the joy and abundance in your lives, because it’s there amidst all the chaos of life!
Peace to you all and happy Easter!
I take all of my photos with either my iPhone 5c* or my mirrorless Sony a6000* (which I adore and really need to write a post to show you it’s awesomeness). *Affiliate links
