One of the things I always keep an eye out for at the thrift store are vintage suitcases. And when I come across a beauty it literally makes me gasp out loud (is that weird?). The biggest criteria is that it’s good-looking; I guess I’m a bit of a suitcase snob that way. As a result of all my years of thrift store prowling, I’ve amassed a bit of a collection! Want to see it?
One of the first vintage suitcases I ever came across was actually a curbside find with a bunch of old photos in it. I was hooked from then on.
Now I have a total of 13 larger suitcases that I use to store craft supplies and other bits around the house. And I’ve never paid more than $10 for any of them.
And of course I use them when I’m on the road. How could you not love all that gorgeous color?
I have a few other thrift store collections up my sleeve that I can’t wait to share with you. What are your favorite thrifted finds?
Love vintage suitcases as much as I do? Check out my Pinterest board dedicated entirely to them!
