Working with the 3D Capture Stage to create a 3D object was definitely a bit of a learning curve (not all objects scan as well as others), and there was a snafu with the printer clogging up at one point. But when I called Dremel’s service line, I reached somebody within seconds who was able to email me detailed instructions on how to fix the printer myself within 30 minutes–best customer service experience ever.
The 3D printed ornaments themselves came out surprisingly detailed–it’s amazing how you can virtually design your own 3D object with no 3D design and programming skills needed. I can’t wait to hang my modern vintage ornaments on my tree!
